She was at work at a Subway restaurant. In Fair View Park, Ohio
On the night of Nov 26th 1996 at about 11:50pm she was murdered by her boss Larry Wade.

In May 2006 Wade told the court that he did kill Stacey while trying to rape her and that he put her body into the trash bin. Larry Wade was convicted and received a prison sentence of 20 to life in prison in Ohio.
