Circumstances: MESA - Mesa Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 57-year-old man who suffers from bipolar disorder.

Laurence Farrell Dolan was last seen Saturday in the area of Broadway and 39th St. He left his behavioral health group home about 2 p.m.

Dolan was going to Fry's to buy groceries but did not return.

Dolan has been without his medication since he left home and is considered a danger to himself and others when not on medication.

Police say his mental condition causes him to hear voices and talk to himself.

They say it is very unusual for him for be gone or lost for such a long period of time.

Dolan is 5'6', 210 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. He has a lazy right eye.

Anyone who sees Dolan is asked to call Mesa Police immediately.
