Russell Bovit Went Missing In Walden Vermont in May 1986

Circumstances: Last seen on his dairy farm, Last Resort Farm, in Walden, VT by two friends at approximately 9:00 p.m. 5/11/86. Didn't show up for appointment to purchase property the next day.
The day after he vanished, his light blue 1974 Renault was found stuck on a dirt road approximately 4 miles from his residence. Blood was found in the car trunk and on its passenger side. Blood was also found in his home on his mattress. Testing indicated that the blood in the car and on the mattress originated from the same person.
Authorities believe Bovit was murdered.
