Circumstances: Stephen is schizophrenic, and he loves to drive. He took off on Monday, June 29, leaving a voicemail for our mom (with whom he lives). He said he was going to Ruidoso, NM. He later said he was headed for Las Vegas. On Wednesday of that week, he said he was in Holbrook, AZ, and he needed his medications. So his psychiatrist called in a prescription for a few days' worth of medication to a pharmacy there. Mom talked Steve into heading back home, and he was on his way. He called her on Friday, July 3, saying that he couldn't drive anymore and that we needed to come get him. He was at a truck stop/Dairy Queen near Grants, NM. We made the trip, but he wasn't there when we got there. We haven't heard from him since.
