Circumstances: John Cravens II was last known to be living in a homeless shelter in the San Diego area. The last contact John had with his family was sometime between 2003 -2005. According to his family, John moves around a lot and prior to him moving to California, he had lived in Texas, Alabama, Arizona, New Mexico, Missouri, Florida and Oregon. He may frequent truck stops for money. His family states that he is paranoid and fearful that law enforcement is after him and as a result has attempted to remove/alter his fingerprints and doesn't like to carry his identification card. He has had numerous contacts with law enforcement over the years.
John is described as a White Male, 5'7' - 5'8', 150-170 lbs, with Brown hair and Brown eyes. His appearance changes often. His head may be shaved or his hair may be long or any length in-between. He is missing several upper left teeth and has a significant gap in the upper right teeth (refer to images). He has several tattoos, including but not limited to: 'TROY LEE' on his arm, 'TROY' on his left hand, 'LEE' on his finger, 'N0 FEAR' on his arm, '420' on his left arm, 'J0HN' and 'MANDY' on his thigh, a mushroom on his left calf.
